"Fractal grenades suppress an area by shooting out dozens of small projectiles over a timed duration."

The Fractal Grenade is an unlockable belt item for the Heavy Armor. When thrown, the grenade will rise 1.8 meters off the ground in the span of 1 second, and begin firing lasers in random directions. A laser is fired every 0.15 seconds for a total duration of 3 seconds. During the Beta, it was a common tactic to throw several Fractals near the generator and walk away, leaving the generator to die. Due to the efficiency of this tactic, it was changed so that Fractals barely damage generators and armored assets, and the maximum number a player is able to carry was reduced. After version 1.1, the damage of the grenade was reduced from 370 to 100 per shot, and reducing the final explosion from 1,500 to 125 damage.

The Fractal Grenade has a 20% speed inheritance, with a base speed of 24 m/s, a maximum speed of 32 m/s, regardless of the inherited speed, and a terminal velocity of 140 m/s.

Kick Strength

The Fractal Grenade has an impulse strength of 5,000 uu applied to players hit by its laser.
