The Improved Repair Tool is the default secondary weapon for the Technician, and an improved version of the Repair Tool, which is available to everyone. The Improved Repair Tool has a higher rate of repair than the standard version, and can be upgraded to have even faster repair rates. All of the Repair Tools repair assets based on a percentage of their health, and not on health per second. This has been criticized because assets with low health, like the Grav Cycle and Sensor, take just as long to repair as assets with more health. None of the Repair Tools are able to heal players.
