"A precision sniping weapon, the Phase Rifle uses energy to fire. Unlike the BXT1 it does not need to be scoped for full damage and can fire from the hip."


The Phase Rifle is one of the four sniper rifle variations in Tribes: Ascend, and is an unlockable primary weapon for the Sentinel. Unlike the BXT series rifles, the Phase Rifle does not need to be chared in order to do full damage, instead it drains energy from the player's energy pool. A minimum of 90 energy is required to do full damage.
