The Plasma Gun is an unlockable primary weapon for the Raider, and is a remake of the classic Plasma Gun from Starsiege: Tribes. While it is a close remake to the original, it has a very strong kick when a player is hit by it, the same ammount that the Spinfusors have. The original Plasma Gun did not have a kick back.

Inheritence

The Plasma Gun has a 50% speed inheritence on fired projectiles. The base speed for the projectile is 72.4 m/s, with a maximum speed of 160 m/s, regardless of the inherited speed.

The Plasma Gun has an impulse strength of 500 m/s applied to players hit by its plasma.
