The Light Spinfusor is one of the eleven Spinfusor variations in Tribes: Ascend, and is the default primary weapon for the Pathfinder. This Spinfusor's design was based on the Spinfusor from Tribes 2.

Inheritence

The Light Spinfusor has a 50% speed inheritence on fired projectiles. The base speed for the projectile is 392 km/h, with a maximum speed of 800 km/h, regardless of the inherited speed.

Kick Strength

The Light Spinfusor has an impulse strength of 5,000 applied to players hit by its disc, and an additional 3,500 strength impulse applied if it kills the player. Due to the high strength, it is commonly used for disc jumping, allowing for greater speeds to be attained.
