"Impact Nitrons deal little damage, but force enemies to drop the flag."

The Impact Nitron is the default belt item for the Pathfinder. This grenade deals very little damage, but has a special ability that compensates for it. If the Impact Nitron hits a player that is carrying a flag, the flag will be dropped. This is a favorite for flag chasers. If the player is carrying the flag and tries to use an Impact Nitron to boost their speed, the player will drop the flag.

Inheritence

The Impact Nitron has a 60% speed inheritence when it is thrown. The base speed for the grenade is 50 m/s, with a maximum speed of 50 m/s, regardless of the inherited speed, and a terminal velocity of 140 m/s.

Kick Strength

The Impact Nitron has an impulse strength of 50 m/s applied to players hit by the grenade, and an additional 20 m/s strength impulse applied if it kills the player. Due to the high strength, it is commonly used for grenade jumping, allowing for greater speeds to be attained.
