"Fractal grenades suppress an area by shooting out dozens of small projectiles over a timed duration."


The Fractal Grenade is the default belt item for the Brute. When thrown, the grenade will rise 1.8 meters off the ground in the span of 1 second, and begin firing lasers in random directions. A laser is fired every 0.20 seconds for a total duration of 3.50 seconds. During the Beta, it was a common tactic to throw several Fractals near the generator and walk away, leaving the generator to die. Due to the efficiency of this tactic, it was changed so that Fractals barely damage generators and armored assets, and the maximum number a player is able to carry was reduced.

Inheritence

The Fractal Grenade has a 20% speed inheritence, with a base speed of 24 m/s, a maximum speed of 32 m/s, regardless of the inherited speed, and a terminal velocity of 140 m/s.

Kick Strength

The Fractal Grenade has an impulse strength of 100 m/s applied to players hit by its laser.
