The Smoke Grenade is an unlockable belt item for the Infiltrator. This grenade instantly cloaks the player for 2 seconds, even if damaged. However, if the player fires a weapon, the player will become visible.

Inheritence

The Smoke Grenade has a 100% speed inheritence when it is thrown. The base speed for the grenade is 0.4 m/s, with a maximum speed of 140 m/s, regardless of the inherited speed, and a terminal velocity of 140 m/s. This is one of the few items that has 100% inheritence.

Kick Strength

The Smoke Grenade does not apply an impulse to players like most grenades.

The following accolades can be earned with the Smoke Grenade, though it is highly unlikely, considering it only does 1 point of damage.
