"When a shield pack is activated, damage is applied to your energy pool rather than your health."
The Heavy Shield Pack is an unlockable pack for the Brute, and a variant of the Shield Pack, costing more energy to use. When activated, any damage taken will drain from the player's energy pool instead of their health pool, and has a constant drain of 8.5 energy per second when activated.
