The '''Repair Tool''' is a tool that can be picked up at repair stations, and is available to all armor classes. In order to pick up the repair tool, the player must give up either their primary or secondary weapon. Unlike previous Tribes games, it is not classified as a backpack, but as a weapon, and can not repair players. There are two other versions of the Repair Tool, the [[Tribes: Ascend/Improved Repair Tool|Improved Repair Tool]] and [[Tribes: Ascend/Long Range Repair Tool|Long Range Repair Tool]]. The standard repair tool is the slowest of all the repair tools, and can not be upgraded. Though, it does have a faster repair rate than the deployable [[Tribes: Ascend/Repair Kit|Repair Kit]].
