Tribes: Ascend/Perks/Reach

"Reach increases the range in which you can pickup flags."

Reach allows players to grab the flag without actually having to touch it, even through some thin walls. The final upgrade will grab ammo drops as well as the flag. This is a Primary Perk.

Upgrades

Base level: 1 meter

Upgrade 1: +10% reach (1.3 meters)

Upgrade 2: +10% reach (1.61 meters)

Upgrade 3: Reach works on ammo drops

Strategies

Pathfinders benefit the most from this perk, especially if they are a flagrunner. They can grab the flag without having to touch it, so if there are mines or enemies around the flag, they can just fly by the flag and grab it. This perk also makes flag passing easier.
